After completing her undergraduate, did her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in JIPMER and continued working as a senior resident there for a few months. She then practised obstetrics and gynaecology for 5 years before entering the fetal medicine speciality. Later got trained in fetal medicine under the mentorship of Dr.S.Boopathy Vijayaraghavan, a pioneer in fetal imaging for a period of 2 years. Following which she joined the fetal medicine department, KMCH and has been working here from the year 2020.
